Madison's desire as a clinician is to provide a safe and consistent environment for clients to grow in self-discovery and confidence in their identity. Madison understands that life is filled with uncertainty, challenging circumstances, and conflict in relationships. Through empowering her clients, she helps them navigate these situations with confidence for overcoming future difficulties. Her encouragement and curiosity creates space for clients to realize their potential and live aligned in their values.
Madison graduated with her Bachelors degree in Psychology and a Minor in Counseling at the University of Toledo and earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wheaton College. Madison is an EMDR trained clinician who holds a certification in Trauma and utilizes a trauma-informed approach to counseling.
Madison works with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Oppositional Defiant Behavior, Self-Esteem Issues,ADHD/ADD, and Attachment Disorders. Madison utilizes EMDR therapy, somatic-focused techniques, and a person-centered approach that allows her clients to expand their self-understanding and grow in their unique strengths. When counseling children, Madison utilizes play-therapy, emotion-focused techniques, and Cognitive-Behavioral therapy.
When Madison is not working with clients she enjoys weight-lifting, hiking, reading, discovering new music, and baking for her friends and family.
